If you are ineligible to contribute into a health savings account (HSA) because your health plan does not qualify, you are still able to open a starship account for limited purposes:
You may still transfer an existing HSA into Starship
You may spend any existing funds you have saved in your account on qualified health expenses
You may NOT contribute any new funds into your HSA until you are once again eligible.
